chocolate sauce: with anything & everything

Chocolate is a hard thing to pass up... especially Nutella. Although after awhile you get sick of Nutella and just want some yummy homemade chocolate sauce. This chocolate sauce is easy to make and extremely tasty; it's perfect for a choco "fix".  You can have it on a banana in the morning... ice cream at night... or, you know, just to have a spoonful!

Ingredients:

2 cups sugar, 1 can (12 oz or 350 ml) evaporated milk, 3-4 oz (or 100 grams) unsweetened chocolate or combination of 70 and 86 percent cocoa bar.

Directions:

Head ingredients in a skillet until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth, stirring or whisking gently but constantly. Take off heat and add 1 tsp vanilla and 1 "lump" (heaping tablespoon) of butter.  Cool covered in refrigerator. Serve cold or warmed in microwave.
