valentine swedish torta

Nothing like a Valentine's Day kegger-smorgasbord. Judging by the empty plates, I'd say the party was a success! The meatballs were gone, scalloped potatoes demolished and not a trace of torta (which is a shame because you can't beat torta for breakfast). 

Confession to make -- I put a candy heart in one of the meatballs with hopes to surprise said winner with some sort of prize. Assuming that candy heart dissolved, apologies go out to whoever had that incredibly sweet Swedish meatball,
