Well... Thursday's used to be my favorite day, but today couldn't be going better. I had an early start to my day and just had a tasty lunch at Bistro Lepic. It was just by chance I discovered this place. Asking a kind gentleman at the parking meter what restaurant to choose, he quickly said, "1736, that's where I'm going." We even happened to sit shoulders length apart. I was about to order the endive salad with apple, walnut, and blue cheese followed by some yummy looking pate. BUT when the list of specials came out, I couldn't pass up moules frites. Mussels and fries, for those who don't know French... Don't worry "je ne sais pas" French either : ) There are two 'best parts' of this meal. One: I got a pear tart to go to have with creme fraiche when I'm home & Two: the tab was covered for me by the nice gentleman I met at the parking meter. So thank you Bistrot Lepic for the yummy lunch & thank you, nice gentleman, for covering my bill! Too kind, too kind... But much appreciated.
