new years celebrations: choco choco mocha cake

Recipe for Disaster...

Without tickets to the bowl game on New Year's Eve, MaryClaire and I decided to bake a cake. When the recipe calls for buttermilk AND coffee, you know it's going to be the real deal. 

As you can see from above, the Choco Choco Mocha Cake turned out to be a hit. All that "greatness" may have had to do with the abundance of champagne consumed that night.
