Hi! I'm Katherine.

I've always had a passion for food. Back in 2010, I started this blog to document my experiences with food + share recipes with friends.

Enjoy!

So far in Paris, I can safely say my experience with Corrinne and Chef Patrick at Le Grenier a Pain Patissier was the best, hands down! This class offers you a hands-on experience, something you don't get with common commercialized cooking classes.

We did it all. Measuring, weighing, kneeding, spreading... the list goes on and on.  As Chef Patrick knows little English, Corrinne was right by my side translating and supplying great conversation!

If you are in Paris and looking for a hands-on baking experience check out the Vacations and Lifestyle website at http://www.vacationsandlifestyle.com/oneday.html#pastry_sevres.

Here are a few shots:

finishing touch with powered sugar on the tarte tatin

lemon meringue tart (without the finishing touches)

plougastel tart with raspberries

To be honest... I cannot figure out which one was my favorite. Probably the Plougastel and Lemon Meringue if I HAD to say...

If you'd like the recipes comment below and I'll email them right to you! They are long but more than worth it!
