café constant: 139 rue saint-dominique, 75007 Paris

Café Constant, owned by Christian Constant, is perfect for an easy and delicious meal. The portions are nice, and the prices are fairly reasonable…, more so than most restaurants of this nature in Paris.  He also has two other restaurants on St. Dominque which I am excited to try out!

To start we split Flaked crab, Ratte potato salad with flat leafed parsley.

For dinner I had Filet of seabass cooked on the plancha with mashed sweet potatoes.  I need to figure out what makes their mashed sweet potatoes so good… probably an insane amount of butter, but I'm okay with that.

And for dessert, in addition to Homemade profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce... we had this fancy thing.

Ile Flottante with salty caramel!
